Helping local businesses prepare for natural disasters and emergencies

When disaster strikes, the community depends on Tri-City Medical Center. The hospital is known as a regional leader in emergency preparedness.  

Tri-City Medical Center, along with Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, and San Marcos Chambers of Commerce and the San Diego North Economic Development Council sponsored the Business Emergency Response Initiative (BERI) workshops for 2010 at Tri-City Medical Center. Representatives of local businesses, from sole proprietors to large corporations attended.

These workshops offered tangible and useful information on basic skills needed to prepare businesses for disasters and emergencies.
