Notably Large Baby Born at Tri-City

Vista resident Cynthia Sigler, 29, delivered a 13-pound, 14-ounce baby boy at 10:44 a.m. on Thursday at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside. Ms. Sigler's obstetrician, Dr. Jerald White, said it was the largest baby he's delivered in his 40-plus years at the hospital.

Jayden Sigler was delivered by cesarean section. Both mom and baby are recovering.
