Tri-City Among “100 Great Places to Work in Healthcare”

Tri-City Medical Center was named one of the “100 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” by Becker’s Hospital Review and Becker’s ASC Review. The award recognizes workplaces that go "above and beyond" to keep their employees happy, healthy and motivated through robust benefits, opportunities for development and a strong sense of community.

According to the Chicago-based Becker’s, a bi-monthly publication offering news and analysis related to healthcare systems, Tri-City Medical Center and the other organizations on the list represent some of the best employers in the healthcare industry. Tri-City’s Chief Executive Officer, Larry Anderson, said the recognition is a testament to the great employees who work at the hospital. “Our dedicated staff are what make Tri-City successful,” Mr. Anderson said. “Whenever we can, we believe in giving back to them to thank them for all they do for the hospital, the patients and the community.”

Organizations were selected for inclusion on this list based on nominations, inclusion on other industry lists and research conducted by the Becker's editorial team.

Tri-City, which opened in 1961, employs over 2,000 people. Its goal is to be recognized in the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient care by 2015. Organizations do not pay and cannot pay to be included on this list. There are never fees involved in Becker's lists. The full list can be found at 100 Great Places to Work in Healthcare.
