Tri-City again named one of the "100 Great Places to Work in Healthcare"
OCEANSIDE -- Tri-City Medical Center has once again been selected as one of the “100 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” by Becker’s Hospital Review and Becker’s ASC Review.
This award recognizes healthcare organizations for their robust benefits, wellness initiatives, professional development opportunities and work environments that promote employee collaboration and satisfaction.
Becker’s, a leading monthly healthcare industry publication, recognized Tri-City Medical Center's Success Sharing Incentive Program, which offers employees an annual payment for reaching the medical center’s goals. Tri-City Medical Center employees were also hailed for their philanthropic commitment. In 2012, employees raised more than $300,000, for instance, to support maternal and child health causes.
“The healthcare business is a people business and the high level of dedication and professionalism of our employees is what makes Tri-City Medical Center a great success,” said Tri-City Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Larry Anderson. “We are continually looking for ways to recognize and reward their hard work devoted to our patients and the communities we serve.”
Organizations were selected for inclusion on this list based on nominations, inclusion on other industry lists and research conducted by the Becker's editorial team.
Tri-City Medical Center, which opened in 1961, employs close to 2,300 people. Its goal is to be recognized in the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide.
Organizations do not pay and cannot pay to be included on this list. There are never fees involved in Becker's lists.
