New Information Technology VP Named

Robert Velasco

Robert R. Velasco has joined Tri-City Medical Center as the Vice President of Information Technology.

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Velasco brings a wealth of technical knowledge and leadership experience to Tri-City Medical Center.

He served in various capacities, including leading his own consulting organization, and held other managerial roles in the healthcare, IT and consulting industries.

Most recently, Mr. Velasco worked as a Senior Manager in Dell Computers Global Healthcare Informatics Practice providing program leadership and consulting services to St. Joseph Health System in Anaheim. Mr. Velasco started his career as an IBM Marketing Representative and was assigned exclusively to support the Mayo Clinic hospitals.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science, from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D.
