Model Mom Club

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Julie Murray, MOT, OTR/L: Julie received her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University. She has pediatric specialty in feeding, is Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)-trained, has advanced training for children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor impairments, certification in sensory integration, and is certified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) by USC-WPS. In addition, she provides training for adults and caregivers in adult sensory integration and behavior management. Julie has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2001.

Kimberly Newman, MSOT, LP: Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health with an emphasis in Community Health from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Pan-American. She is the newest addition to our outpatient pediatric rehabilitation department. Kimberly has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2008.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Karyn Quraishy, MSPT, ATC: In 1989, Karyn became a certified athletic trainer (ATC), and I 1990, she received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. After graduation, she began practicing in pediatrics and became NDT-certified (Neurodevelopmental Techniques) in 1995. Karyn became SIPT-certified (Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests) in 1997 and began specializing in children with autism or sensory processing disorders. She is also trained in Sensory Defensiveness (brushing program), Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Therapeutic Listening, CranioSacral Therapy (CST), and the Alert Program for Self-Regulation. Karyn has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2005.

Katrina R. Todd, DPT: Katrina received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. She has experience with both children and adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings with a variety of diagnoses. She has been trained in the treatment of hypotonia using a Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) approach. Katrina has been with Tri–City Medical Center since 2007.

SPEECH THERAPY

Judy Goodfellow, MS-CCC-SLP: Judy received her Bachelors and Masters degree from Baylor University. She has over 6 years of experience with both pediatric and adolescent patients with varying disorders and delays. She has advanced training in Applied Behavioral Approach (ABA), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), motorspeech disorders, swallowing disorders, and dysfluency. Judy has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2001.

Jennifer Jones, MA CCC-SLP: Jennifer received her Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and her Masters degree from San Diego State University. She has experience with the adult and pediatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in speech, language and swallowing disorders. Jennifer has been with TCMC since 2004.

Gina Krull, MS CCC-SLP: Gina received her Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and her Master's degree from Northern Arizona University. She has experience with both pediatric and adult patients with varying disorders and delays. Additionally, she has training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Gina has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2005.

Emily Lohmeyer, MS-CCC-SLP: Emily received her Bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida and her Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. The majority of her work experience has been with pediatric and adolescent patients with varying disorders. She has advanced training with the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), behavior management, oral-motor techniques, sign language, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has been with Tri-City Medical Center since 2005.

Shawn Marinkovich, MS,CCC,SLP: Shawn received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands, and her Master's degree from the University of Washington. She has 18 years of experience working with adults and children exhibiting a variety of speech, language, and cognitive deficits at all levels of the continuum of care, including acute, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, transitional care, home and community, day treatment, and direct assistance with return to work or school. She also has advanced training in swallowing, motor-speech, and voice disorders. Shawn has been at Tri-City Medical Center since 2000.
