Data Registry and Clinical Trials

California Cancer Registry

The California Cancer Registry (CCR) is California's statewide population-based cancer surveillance system. The CCR collects information about all cancers diagnosed in California (except basal and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin and carcinoma in situ of the cervix). This information furthers our understanding of cancer and is used to develop strategies and policies for its prevention, treatment and control. Visit site or call 916-779-0300.

Clinical Trials

Tri-City Medical Center does not directly partipate in clinical trials. Our affiliated physicians, however, do take part in certain trials.  Please check these links to find current trials and eligibility criteria:

American Cancer Society - Is a cancer clinical trial something you are considering? Find out what they are, why they are important, how you can benefit, what you should ask your doctor, and how you can find a clinical trial appropriate for you.

National Cancer Institute - The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which is one of 11 agencies that compose the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups - This nonprofit compiles a database of all federal (U.S.) registered cancer studies and will identify a trial that fits your needs.
