Acute Rehabilitation
Tri-City Medical Center's Rehabilitation Center provides help for patients who have suffered serious brain, neurological, or orthopedic impairments.
A Special Team of Professionals
Our team is comprised of professionals from a variety of specialized therapeutic disciplines. They work together to carefully evaluate and treat each patient. Under the direction of the physician, our treatment team includes a rehabilitation nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech and language pathologist, clinical social worker, dietitian, and therapeutic recreation specialist.
An Individualized Program
We know that each patient has unique needs. Our program helps each one reach their highest possible level of independence by addressing both therapeutic needs and family involvement.
Family Involvement and Support
Families are encouraged to become involved in every aspect of the rehabilitation process. Family and loved ones play a critical role in recovery by providing support, encouragement, and reassurance in re-establishing familiar routines.
We are sensitive to each family's situations and concerns. Our counseling and family support services offer assistance in meeting these special challenges and concerns.
