The Corporate Council
The Tri-City Hospital Foundation Corporate Council is a group of corporate citizens who understand the crucial importance-to businesses and the community of having an exceptional hospital serving the North County region.
Many of the area's most distinguished corporate citizens have come forward as members of Corporate Council, willingly sharing their insights, knowledge, and business acumen. They recognize that the presence of a top-flight hospital in the community has important economic and non-economic effects on every business.
Corporate Council is a vital link between the business community and the hospital. Council membership provides direct access for senior business executives to the top levels of the hospital's executive team, and encouraging an exchange of knowledge and ideas for the benefit of the community.
Membership in Corporate Council is open to any company.
Corporate Council's generous 2009 Baile donation
The Tri-City Hospital Foundation's Corporate Council, which serves as a philanthropic link between the corporate community and the hospital agreed to match up to $25,000 in paddle raiser bids at the 2009 Baile. That amount was exceeded by more than $10,000, thus accessing the full value of the Corporate Council commitment. The Corporate Council donation was used to purchase two ultrasound machines for the Emergency Department and ICU. This gift is improving patient care at the hospital.
Corporate Council Membership Opportunities
The goal of the Corporate Council is to foster healthcare excellence and growth in San Diego's North County through the philanthropic support of Tri-City Medical Center.

- Assistance when you visit in-patient or out-patient hospital services
- Private room at the hospital if available
- Assistance by Foundation staff with healthcare needs and other comforts

- Recognition and publicity at Foundation fund raising events according to level of membership
- Listing on the wall of honor in the Tri-City Medical Center lobby according to level of membership
