Tri‐City Hospital Foundation Corporate Council Hosts Executive Forum Feb. 23
Supervisor Bill Horn and Tri‐City Medical Center CEO Larry Anderson to address business community
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2012)‐‐ Tri‐City Hospital Foundation Corporate Council will host its third annual Executive Forum Breakfast for North County business leaders on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 8‐ 10 a.m. at Tri‐City Wellness Center.
Local business leaders are invited to come and listen to the business turnarounds of Tri‐City Medical Center as well as the future of health, business, education, housing and quality of life in North County.
Guest speakers include Larry Anderson, CEO of Tri‐City Medical Center, who will share how the hospital has improved its financial performance achieving 18 straight months of profitability. He will also share some of the hospital’s plans for better serving the local business community and their employees including a vision for a new hospital.
Bill Horn, San Diego County's 5th District Supervisor, and Josh Williams, consultant with BW Research Partnership, will share news of an exciting initiative to help chart a course for the future of North County: Prosperity on Purpose, an initiative to unite the unincorporated area of North County’s District 5 with the region’s cities around a shared plan for economic development, job creation, infrastructure investment and improved quality of life.
“Our members are community‐minded businesses that care about excellence in healthcare for all who live and work in our communities,” said Joseph Mason, Chair of Corporate Council and Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Cardinal Health, Inc. “This meeting is a great opportunity for local business leaders to brainstorm ideas on how to better our community economically and physically in the future.”
