Tri-City Breast Care Center Achieves National Certification

Tri-City Medical Center has been awarded a three-year full accreditation designation for its breast care center by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

The accreditation means that Tri-City Medical Center has voluntarily committed to provide the highest quality care in breast disease diagnosis and treatment for its patients and has demonstrated it can comply with the NAPBC accreditation program standards.

“The NAPBC accreditation recognizes the high caliber of Tri-City’s breast care program; its board-certified oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and radiologists; and its highly trained nurses and medical technicians,” said medical oncologist Warren Paroly, MD. “While NAPBC accreditation sets us apart from other care providers, its greatest value is to our breast cancer patients who can be confident that they are getting the best quality and most advanced care available.”

As an NAPBC-accredited breast center, Tri-City Medical Center offers a complete range of state-of-the-art services; a multidisciplinary team approach to coordinating the best available treatment options; information about ongoing cancer clinical trials and new treatment options; access to prevention and early detection programs, cancer education, and support services; and ongoing monitoring and improvements in cancer care.
