OCEANSIDE – The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce names Tri-City Medical Center its “2013 Large Business of the Year Award” recipient.

“The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is pleased to award our ‘2013 Large Business of the Year’ to Tri-City Medical Center,” said Oceanside Chamber of Commerce President and CEO David Nydegger. “They have been an outstanding partner in the Oceanside community as well as all of North County. They have provided support to numerous organizations while continuing to be an outstanding nationally-recognized hospital.”

Tri-City Medical Center CEO Larry Anderson received the award on behalf of the hospital in a ceremony on July 17. According to the Oceanside Chamber, the award recognizes that Tri-City Medical Center, its medical staff, and its employees “have played an active and positive role in improving the economic climate and quality of life in Oceanside and the region.”

Since becoming CEO in 2009, Anderson has led the implementation of a strategic plan at Tri-City Medical Center that has included the acquisition of cutting-edge medical technological innovations and the hiring of leading physicians to be able to provide the highest quality of care in North County.
