Writing Through Cancer is a 10-week support group where participants come together to write and speak about their journey with cancer. Group members meet in a safe and supportive environment where they can exchange ideas with other cancer patients and survivors, discuss the process of recovery, maximize healing potential, and regain a sense of empowerment and coping strategies. Research has shown that writing improves one’s ability to cope, helps you understand your emotions and increase knowledge, and develop skills to help you overcome the negative feelings associated with a cancer diagnosis.
