Biography

Dr. Neville Alleyne is knowledgeable and compassionate when discussing orthopedics. A gifted surgeon, speaker and author, he has inspired patients and colleagues alike with his in-depth interest in spine-related subjects.

Dr. Alleyne graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and also taught there as an assistant instructor in Anatomy. He then performed his internship and surgical residencies at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine. He subsequently received two fellowships: one for the spine at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, and one for total joint reconstruction at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Alleyne specializes in all areas of adult spinal surgeries and is currently a consultant for several spine companies. In addition to his lectures and publications, Dr Alleyne is also responsible for a number of patents. These include a spinal cord protective device, a cardiac protective device, a tummy tutor and a radiofrequency coblation used in spinal surgery.

Dr. Alleyne specializes in martial arts, strength training, and most of all is a family man involved with his three children with soccer, gymnastics and baseball.
