Dr. Andrew Cooperman received his undergraduate degree at U.C. San Diego and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Michigan Hospitals.
Dr. Cooperman joined the medical staff at Tri-City Medical Center in 1990 and has practiced orthopedic surgery in North County ever since. He has a general orthopedic practice with special interest in total joint replacement and sports related injuries.
The part he enjoys most about his profession is seeing a patient come out of surgery pain free after suffering with it for years.
When he is not working, he is usually spending time with his two sons. He also enjoys deep sea fishing and fly fishing.
