Clinical Laboratory – Nationally Accredited
The College of American Pathology (CAP), the premier accrediting agency for medical laboratories, has judged the Tri-City Medical Center clinical lab to be of the highest caliber and awarded the lab full accreditation.
Chest Pain Center – First Accredited in San Diego County
We are the first hospital in San Diego County to receive Cycle III Chest Pain Center accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC). Commission on Cancer – Nationally Accredited
Tri-City Medical Center is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons / Commission on Cancer. This recognition is granted to cancer programs who exemplify excellence in patient-centered care, the improvement of patient outcomes and the quality of service provided.
- 2014 – Tri-City earned the Outstanding Achievement Award by the Commission on Cancer for services of quality received by cancer patients. Tri-City Medical Center is 1 of 4 hospitals in the state of California and 1 of 74 nationwide to receive this award.
