Tri-City Medical Center was named a finalist for the third annual Healthiest Companies competition sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal.
The award spotlights companies that have worked hard to create environments where their employees enjoy going to work. Winners possess four characteristics: visible leadership support and involvement, significant investment in the wellness program, strategy for measuring the ROI (return on investment), and a strong desire to create a culture of well-being.
Casey Fatch, chief operating officer, accepted the certificate recognizing Tri-City as a finalist at reception held May 16 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines.
