Q. What inspired you to become a physician?
Unfortunately, a family member had an unexpected serious medical issue when I was 14 years old. It was a tough time for the family but what inspired me was seeing how the medical field was able to care for the sick in their time of need – from that time on I knew I was going to become a physician.

Q. What would people be surprised to know about you? Hidden hobby/talent?
I trained for and competed in a marathon in 1999. I set high goals for myself and never give up on any goal I set for myself.
