Legendary surfers from both California and Hawaii, including L.J. Richards, Dale Dobson, Donald Takayama, Rell Sun, David Nuuhiwa, Phil Edwards, Linda Benson, and Jericho Poppler, have been attracted to the Oceanside contest over its 29-year history and this year will be no different.

Both professional and amateur surfers from Santa Cruz to Coronado and beyond will compete for bragging rights in the Coalition of Surfing Clubs portion of the event, and a cash prize in the Guy Takayama Pro Noseriding Contest and Pro-Open. Surfers including Tony Silvagns, Taylor Jenson, Kaitlin MacGuire will be part of the competition this year.

Friday features Guy Takayama’s Pro Events and Saturday will see the Pro Noseriding and Pro Open Finals, along with our Club Coalition Contest getting underway and a Tandem Surfing Final Heat.
